TSNs Jack Armstrong offers his thoughts on the return of Paul Georges play, the defensive abilities of Chris Paul, the emergence of Mirza Teletovic, the struggles of Wesley Matthews and the successful formula of the Miami Heat. 1. Paul George (Pacers): Really looked like the All-Star hes been the past few years. Big time 39 point-12 rebound performance in Game #4 vs. the Wizards. Makes seven 3s and is clutch in so many instances for his team. Im not sure if the Pacers are truly back or if the Wizards dont know how to win as the stakes get higher but I will say that George looks back to normal and then some of late and thats a good sign for his club. 2. Chris Paul (Clippers): Yes, hes the best point guard in the game in my book and in spite of the fact that he gets 23 points and 10 assists in Game #4 vs. OKC, youve got to admire his grit and compete level taking on the defensive challenge of guarding Kevin Durant late. Hes an outstanding offensive player yet the thing that stands out to me is his ability to put the clamps on his opponent when need be, regardless of size. Tough competitor and special player. 3. Mirza Teletovic (Nets): Has made 10 3s in the past two games vs the Heat and has them shaking their heads on how to cover him. His stretch 4 game is quite a sight to behold when hes dropping long range shots. He opens the whole floor up for his teammates and has been a steady shooter (37 per cent) this season. Looks like hes gaining confidence with each passing game. What a steal for GM Billy King. A skilled and tough second unit guy that teams would love to have. 4. Wesley Matthews (Blazers): Normally close to 40 per cent 3-point shooter during the regular season. Rockets and Spurs have made it a point of making him work for every open look he can get on the perimeter while only shooting 31 per cent in the playoffs. His ability to open things up in the two-man game between LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard has been critical to their success. Spacing is such a huge component of getting the matchups you want to be effective. Hes a marked man and the Spurs are making sure he takes tough shots. 5. Miami Heat Formula: Theyve got the best player on the planet in LeBron James yet its what they put around him that counts. Of course, Dwyane Wade is a Hall of Famer and when hes healthy, hes still very good. The stretch ability of this team is remarkable. In the playoffs, theyre shooting 41 per cent from behind the arc. Thats really hard to do. Their spacing and ball movement is impeccable and when you have Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, James Jones and Shane Battier camping out behind the line, you have to pick your poison; double LeBron and give up 3s or play him single coverage, defend the 3s and hope that LeBron doesnt destroy you. The system works and is well thought out. Fits their personnel to a T. Tough to stop. Barry Sanders Youth Jersey . Heather, the first Gaiter to win the award, set a Canadian Inter-university Sport record with 3,132 passing yards in eight league games, an average of 391.5 yards per game. Murray, the defending champion and No. 3 seed, claimed his first match win at Queens in 2005 and went on to win the Wimbledon warmup three times. But he failed to take advantage of eight set points after leading the first-set tiebreaker 6-2, and Stepanek survived to convert with his second set point. http://www.shopdetroitlionsnfl.com/lions-jarrad-davis-black-jersey/ .com) - Sixth-seeded Feliciano Lopez was a first-round winner on Monday at the Delray Beach Open tennis event. Detroit Lions Jerseys . On the eve of the 2013-14 NBA season, he can finally take a step back and allow his team to do the talking. Jahlani Tavai Youth Jersey . After a dominant win over an Eastern Conference power, Williams is confident the Kings are headed back into balance. Williams had a power-play goal and an assist in his 800th career game, Jonathan Quick made 20 saves and the Kings slowed their recent slide with a 4-2 victory over Boston on Thursday night. Jeff Carter, Alec Martinez and captain Dustin Brown also scored for the Kings, who won for just the second time in eight games by thoroughly outplaying the Atlantic Division leaders. After a prolonged slump, Los Angeles goal-scorers might be waking up: Carter launched 10 shots and scored his 16th goal, while Browns third-period score gave the Kings more than three goals for the first time in nine games since Dec. 19. "Sometimes things have a way of evening out when youre not scoring," Williams said. "I thought we were very assertive tonight. ... We should be proud of the way we responded when they pushed us, and we should be proud we scored four goals on a stingy defensive team." Although the Kings have allowed the NHLs fewest goals, their meagreoffence has knocked them off the scorching pace set by the rival Anaheim Ducks atop the overall league standings. But their defence is still dominant, no matter whos in goal: Quick earned his second win since his return from a 24-game injury absence, allowing just four goals in three games. "Being out for seven weeks, it seems like he didnt even miss a game," Brown said. "Thats why hes the best goalie." Justin Florek scored his first career goal for the Bruins, who have lost on the first two stops of their three-game California road trip. Tuukka Rask gave up three goals on 18 shots before Chad Johnson replaced him. "Were just not getting it done right now," Johnson said. "We just need to regroup and take as many positives as we can from these games and realize what we need to do to have success and win games. I think it just comes down to intensity and that passion to want to win games. Thats what were lacking.dddddddddddd When were sitting back, were not a good team." Matt Fraser also scored for Boston, which had another frustrating offensive performance in its fifth loss in six road games despite the landmark goal from Florek, who tipped home a shot in front of Quick on a power play with 2:13 to play. "We know we can play much better than we are right now," Boston captain Zdeno Chara said. "Thats whats frustrating. We need to get our game back. Its not going to happen overnight, and its not going to happen by trying to make some high-risk plays. Weve just got to stay patient and slowly gain our game back. Weve just got to grind it out." Carters opening goal was his sixth in nine games, highlighting a 10-shot performance by the Canadian Olympic team selection. The Bruins killed off a penalty to Dougie Hamilton spanning the first intermission, but Hamilton stuck his stick out of the penalty box to play the puck as his penalty expired, putting him right back in the box for interference. Williams beat Rask with a wrist shot moments later for his 14th goal. Just 1:01 later, Martinez scored his first goal in three weeks on a long, wobbly shot, chasing Rask. Hamilton forced a turnover midway through the period that led to Frasers goal on a setup from Carl Soderberg. But the Kings clamped down on defence again, and Brown scored his ninth goal in the third period on a well-placed wrist shot. "We didnt get much from our top two lines, and you need that if youre going to win some hockey games," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "They were pretty quiet tonight." NOTES: Bruins F Shawn Thornton served the final game of his 15-game suspension for attacking Pittsburghs Brooks Orpik on Dec. 7.
