TORONTO -- Nazem Kadri and James van Riemsdyk provided the offence as the Toronto Maple Leafs avoided their third straight loss with a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night. With the goal, van Riemsdyk matched his single-season career best set during the 2010-11 season while he was with the Philadelphia Flyers. Kadri scored twice in less than eight minutes to give the Maple Leafs (28-21-6) a 2-0 lead before the midway mark of the second period, but Matthew Carle and Mark Barberio responded for Tampa Bay (31-17-5) to tie it 2-2 after 40 minutes.
